From the riveting beginning to the heartbreaking ending, Red Queen had me completely captivated. The well-developed characters, stunning world building, and magnetic romance kept me entertained the whole time, and by the end I was hungry for book 2. Fans of The Hunger Games and Powerless would absolutely devour this novel!

Content Warnings: Seeing as this a book about blood, it's no surprise that this book contains a hearty amount of violence, death, murder, war, torture, and body horror. Other than that and a few very mild instances of mild language and mild sexual innuendo, this book was pretty clean as YA reads go. I'd recommend this book for ages 13+. Happy reading!
